The Art By Coursey Originals Collection is where every story begins. Unlike prints, these are the primary physical manifestations of the "mental chaos" that drives my work. Each piece is a unique, non-repeatable event—created without a plan and finished only when the subconscious has said its piece.

The Depth of the Original

When you own an original, you own the texture, the intentional imperfections, and the raw energy of the studio.

Singular Artifacts: There is only one in existence. Once an original is sold, it moves from my studio to your private collection, never to be replicated as an original again.

Hand-Built Foundations: Many pieces are created on custom wood panels or hand-stretched canvas, often incorporating 3D mixed media elements and sculptural surface-building that a print simply cannot capture.

The Artist’s Hand: Every stroke of the quill, every layer of acrylic, and every hidden linework is visible in its purest form. These pieces carry the weight of the physical tools and the specific moment in time they were created.

Ownership of an original Coursey work includes:

Signature of Authenticity: Signed on the front and dated/titled on the reverse.
